Release 42.2 Notes 27 October 2024#
Summary#
In this release, we’ve developed the following improvements:
All dropdown lists are now sorted in alphanumeric order.
Clearer warning messages when switching profiles.
Improved error messages and user interface performance in the AI Trend Forecasting module. (Now in customer beta testing.)
Improvements#
Warning for profile switching#
If you switch profiles on the User Admin page, a warning message will now appear to inform you that you might lose access to your dashboard’s widgets. A warning message appears when you click ‘Save’ after a profile change. You are asked to confirm the change. On the Profile Admin page, a warning message appears when you un-assign a widget from a profile. Previously, there were no warnings when you saved a profile change.
Dropdown Lists Sorted in Alphanumeric Order#
All dropdown lists in Rebus are now sorted alphanumerically. This makes it easier to navigate long dropdowns. Previously, not all dropdown lists in the Labor module were sorted alphanumerically.
AI Trend Forecasting#
The following updates pertain to the AI Trend Forecasting module, which is currently in customer beta testing. To learn more about AI Trend Forecasting, please contact Rebus Customer Support.
Input Saved in Create Forecast Panel#
In the AI Trend Forecasting module, your selections and input are now saved if you click out of the ‘Create Forecast’ panel. This means you won’t have to start over if you navigate away by mistake. Previously, if you clicked out of the ‘Create Forecast’ page while entering data in steps 1, 2, or 3, all input information would have been lost. The ‘Create Forecast’ panel will still be reset, however, if you click the following:
The Cancel button.
The Reset button.
Out of the Create Forecast panel and then select a different existing forecast to edit.
Improved Error Messages#
New error messages in the AI Trend Forecasting module offer clearer feedback when running forecasts with limited data. Now, if there is an error when you activate and run your forecast, you will see specific error messages based on the issue:
If your forecast contains no data, you will see the message: “Your widget did not return any data.”
If your forecast data for only one day, you will see the message: “Your widget needs data for more than one day.”
Previously, you would have received a generic error message.
Bug Fixes#
Warehouse Mapping#
Warning about Data Source when creating WM widget#
You now receive an error message when you attempt to create a Warehouse Maps widget using a combined widget, or superwidget, as your data source.
Values Overlay Not Persisting on Refresh#
Numeric Overlay - When you view a Warehouse Maps widget on your dashboard, selected numeric overlays will now remain visible upon refreshing the page. Previously, numeric overlays were not persisting on the map after refreshing the page.
Value overlay popup - When you view a Warehouse Map widget on your dashboard that uses numeric overlay function, you can now click on a map object and the object data popup will appear.
Re-ordering layers - When re-ordering the layers of a Warehouse Maps widget on your dashboard, you can now click and drag the layers to the desired position.
