Labor Planning Overview#

The Labor Planning Module lets you find a balance between overstaffing and understaffing your warehouse and protect your bottom line.

Forecast Labor Costs#

Based on historical trends and a forecast model that you build, Rebus forecasts labor costs for an upcoming demand. Labor costs are the measured hours and goal hours to complete an activity; a demand is any type of work that requires labor costs from warehouse staff to complete it. Examples of a demand include outbound orders, inbound receipts, work orders, production, directed tasks, etc.

Track Demand and Labor Progress#

By comparing the actual results with the forecast results, you can track the progress of planned labor costs during the fulfillment of the demand and identify potential staffing adjustments in your labor operations.

Evaluate a Forecast’s Accuracy#

After completing demands for a specific period, you can evaluate the accuracy of one or more forecasts by making comparisons and then make necessary adjustments before planning labor costs for the next period.
