Release 10.0 Notes 15 November 2017#

Summary#

In this release, we’ve added the following features:

  • You can now make activity adjustments to account for unexpected interruptions (e.g., fire alarms) to ongoing activities.

  • In the Report Viewer, you can now save parameter settings as a template and apply them to a report before you run it.

New Features#

Adding Unexpected Events to Activities#

You can now insert emergency or unexpected events into an ongoing activity and have start and end times updated automatically. This allows you to make adjustments that account for unexpected interruptions (e.g., fire alarms) to ongoing activities. Adding this kind of adjustment is a lot like adding a new activity adjustment.

  1. In the Activity Adjustment screen, click the activity into which you want to insert a new activity.

  2. Click the new ‘Mass Adjustment’ button. You are at a Mass Activity Adjustment screen. It works like the New Adjustment screen.

  3. Enter the details of the adjustment:

The Activity Name must be that of a non-essential activity. The step duration is pre-populated with the start and stop times of the selected original activity. The duration you submit must meet the following criteria:

  • Be less than the original activity’s duration,

  • Start at the same time or after the original activity’s start date/time.

  • End at the same time or before the original activity’s end date/time.

  1. Click ‘Save’. The adjustment is saved.

If you re-populate the Activity Adjustment screen with the same set of activities, you will see that the original activity has been split into two separate activities and the added activity is sandwiched between them. Rebus does not consider break thresholds when adjusting the start and end times of an adjusted activity.

Saving Parameter Settings of Reports#

In the Report Viewer, you no longer need to manually key in parameters every time you run a report. You can now save parameter settings as a template and apply them to a report before you run it. A template that you create can be used only by your user account and can be applied to only one report.

To save your parameter settings as a template for a report:

  1. In the Report Query Parameters dialog, enter the parameter settings you want to save.

  2. Click ‘Save Template As’. The Add Report Parameter Template dialog appears.

  3. Enter the Template Name and click ‘Save Template’.

  4. Click ‘Done’ to run the report.

When you run this report again, you can apply these saved parameter settings to the report by selecting the template from the Select Template dropdown.

New Improvements#

  • The Home screen has been re-designed to reduce visual clutter and to improve application performance.

    • The Activity Stream has been removed.

    • The Alerts area has been moved up to the top of the right-side panel.

    • The Notepad has been moved over to the bottom of the right-side panel.

    • The Menu takes up all the left-side panel.

  • 504 gateway timeout errors are no longer thrown when you’re setting up alerts for widgets.

  • A measured flag value is now recorded for each activity. If the activity has a duration that’s greater than zero, the measured flag value will be ‘1’. Otherwise, it will be ‘0’. This flag can be used to more easily find activities that have a time measurement and those that are unmeasured.

  • Error messages for failed activity adjustments now appear regardless of the number of users included in the adjustment. Previously, an error message wouldn’t appear for a failed activity adjustment if there were less than six users included in the adjustment.

Bug Fixes#

Activity Adjustment#

  • Time is added onto an activity when another is adjusted into it.

  • Getting console error after clicking Reset button

  • One step activity and on clicking save button, start date having value automatically become empty

  • Activity having no step then it throws console error while creating mass adjustment

User Views#

  • Duplicate IDs generated during profile admin changes

  • When newly created User creates first time dashboards then User View Ids of Request Payload are less than 100.

Reports#

  • Report Templates: Done button is enabled and user can still save template, which results in all report dates vanishing for existing templates.
