I Forgot My Password. How do I Reset it?

info This procedure does not apply to users set up as an FS user.

If it’s been awhile and you can’t remember your Rebus password, you’ll have to reset it.

Pre-requisites

You’ll need to know the answers to the security questions that you set up when you first logged into your account.

Steps

  1. On the login page, click ‘Forgot Your Password?’. You are at the Retrieve your Account page.

  2. In the email field, enter the email address that’s associated with your Rebus account and click ‘Submit’. An account recovery email with password reset instructions is sent to the address.

  3. Open the email and copy the reset password link.

  4. Open a session of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, and paste the link into the browser’s address bar.

  5. Press Enter. You are at the Retrieve your Account page. You are prompted to enter the answers to your security questions, a new password, and to re-confirm the password.

Password Standards

  • Must be at least six characters long.

  • Must have at least one of each of the following:

    • Upper Case Letter,

      • Lower Case letter,

      • Number, and

      • Special Characters/Symbols.

The following are regarded as special characters in a password:

! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = [ ] { } ; ' : " \ | , . < > / ? ~ `

Example: PassWord@1234

  1. Click ‘Submit’.

Result

Your password is reset. You are at the login page.

I’m Locked Out of My Account. What do I do?

info This procedure does not apply to users set up as an FS user.

Your Rebus account is locked out after six failed logon attempts.

Pre-requisites

You’ll need to know the answers to the security questions that you set up when you first logged into your account.

Steps

On the login page, click ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and go through the password reset procedure. When you complete the password reset procedure and are back at the login page, enter your new credentials and complete a reCaptcha challenge to confirm that you’re not an automated system.

What if I don’t remember the answers to my security questions?

Contact your administrator to have your password reset.
